Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian performer, actress and dancer born on July 22, 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 201, she had her debut as an actor in the Australian soap opera called Home and Away. She was in a minor role for only two episodes. She was chosen to be the main character in the soap opera in Australia Home and Away as her performance on this particular part was so captivating that casting agents sought to cast her in different parts. She however did audition for the role but she wasn't selected. Instead, on the same show, she played the character of Cassie turner who was a troubled teenager who is placed in foster care.
