Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has won Emmy awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It is scheduled to air for another 27 seasons. Ina Garten started her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget papers. Though she found the career to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she dropped interest and purchased a small specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop wildly successful, before she sold the business. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. The cookbooks were followed by many more as well as magazine columnists that came later. Meanwhile she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina she is a self-taught cook, has never studied at an institution for cooking or an establishment. She is well-known for her unpretentious way of entertaining and easy food preparation. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
