Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Following that, she performed on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she made her debut album entitled It's Time for Tina. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamour doll image she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has gained recognition as a producer on a variety of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained to Toronto since then.
